Piper Hulse is pleased to sponsor three premier local running races this summer and help raise much needed funds for local causes; University Hospital North Staffordshire, St Michaels School Stone, Stone Girl guides Kenyan schools project, Katherine House Hospice, Douglas McMillan Hospice and The Gingerbread centre.
The races (Westbridge 5, St Michaels 10k and the Flying Fox Marathon) are expected to raise in excess of £8,000 for the local charities.
Tim Hulse, Director Piper Hulse commented “As a keen local runner I was pleased to be able to help the local races to raise the much needed funds for their chosen causes. I’ve raced the Westbridge 5 and St Michaels 10k in previous years and was thrilled to line up on the start (and finish!) of the Flying Fox marathon in May with fellow runners”.
The Flying Fox Marathon is a local race from Knighton organised by Stone Master Marathoners (www.stonemm.co.uk) which passes through Eccleshall. This was the first running of the Flying Fox Marathon in over 20 years so was a great opportunity for us to be involved in the race.”
